WVWC Competitive Dance Recruitment Camp

West Virginia Wesleyan College Competitive Dance Team invites you to their Fall Recruitment Camp! During camp, you will be working with Head Coach Haylee Shires and the Bobcat Dancers learning the fight song, collegiate dance technique, and a “time-out” style combo. You will get to experience first hand what it’s like to be a Bobcat Dancer! Participants will have the opportunity to receive coach’s feedback. Seniors will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the end of camp with the chance to be awarded athletic scholarships on site. We look forward to dancing with you!

Grades: 9th - 12th Check-In: 8:00am Camp Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Senior Scholarship Showcase: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Cost: $70 ($65 + $5 Fee) T-Shirt Included REGISTER

T-shirts can not be guaranteed if registering after 10/17/25

What to Bring:
Dancewear of choice, jazz shoes/half-soles, clean sneakers, and water! Seniors wanting to participate in the scholarship showcase may bring their solo costume to change into after the camp portion has been completed. Solo music will need to be sent to shires.h@wvwc.edu (Music should not be longer than 2 minutes).
